Mystique Mermaid

This version of Mystique is no beautiful fairy-tale mermaid. She is an ancient deep-sea mimic evolved to lure sailors, divers, and submarines into the abyss. Her skin constantly shifts color like bioluminescent octopus camouflage, parts of her body never fully stable. Instead of hair, translucent tendrils drift around her like venomous jellyfish. A drowned underwater city far below the surface — broken statues, collapsed temples, rusting shipwrecks, and beams of pale light disappearing into black water. Strange glowing fish circle ancient ruins while enormous shadows move in the distance. Quiet, hypnotic, predatory. The scene should feel beautiful at first glance but deeply wrong upon closer inspection.
