Batman saving Catwoman

Batman is definitely my most admired comic hero, I drew him many times before. For this picture I was heavily influenced by an outstanding cover illustration by Joe Madureira. In Joe's artwork I particularly like the intimacy between Batman and Catwoman and the way she admires her savior. I wanted to reflect this intimate connection in my version of Joe's amazing cover.
